About us
More than a traditional transport company
For more than 60 years, the MEYER-JUMBO brand has stood for reliable freight forwarding and high-performance logistics. Our brand is firmly established in the region – but today we are more than a traditional transport company: we are an all-round logistics provider with a European focus.
Daily scheduled line services across Europe, express shipments, warehouse logistics as well as office processing and document archiving are part of the day-to-day business of our now 400 employees.
MEYER-JUMBO Logistics GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized, owner-managed company of the MEYER-JUMBO Group, headquartered in Porta Westfalica. From here, together with our locations in Recklinghausen, Mannheim, Berlin and Hangzhou (China), we manage our national and international logistics activities.
“We are proud that our company is seen as a competent all-rounder in all matters of logistics. Our focus, however, is on the smooth flow of goods.”

The right system for every consignment
A decisive advantage is our strong network: as a member of eight logistics networks, we are connected to more than 400 partners across Europe. This allows us to offer reliable groupage and transport solutions in Germany and throughout Europe – flexible, efficient and on time.
Our customers benefit from an extensive range of shipping and transport solutions tailored to consignment volume, type of goods, destination and required transit time. To do this, we rely on a strong network of our own branches, proven partners and groupage cooperations. For particularly time-critical consignments, we add courier, direct and part-load networks.
For every groupage transport we select the most suitable system – based on route, volume and transit time. In addition, MEYER-JUMBO acts as TSP/Nord-Hub for SIM CARGO and ONLINE Systemlogistik, which provides extensive and flexible distribution options.
At night, our Porta Westfalica site also plays a central role as the “Nord-Hub” of ONLINE Systemlogistik and as SIM CARGO's TSP in regional groupage traffic: numerous consignments from the region are consolidated, sorted and efficiently distributed here – for fast and reliable deliveries.

Part loads, direct runs and scheduled line services
From a consignment volume of more than 2.5 tonnes or more than five Euro pallets, logisticians speak of part loads, which we handle within the ELVIS Group's part-load network or via our daily direct departures, according to your requirements. Our transport business is complemented by regular long-distance and local line services.
At our locations, including Porta Westfalica and Recklinghausen, 200 vehicles with various equipment options are available for this:
This allows us to handle both plannable standard transports and individual, time-critical shipping requirements flexibly, efficiently and reliably.
