Another milestone for the MEYER-JUMBO Group: by putting our new logistics Hall S on Zechenstraße in Porta Westfalica into operation, we have expanded our capacity in a targeted way and laid the foundation for further growth.
The modern hall, with around 10,000 m² of storage and transhipment space, has been successfully in use since January 2025. It is used intensively by our warehouse staff as well as by our commercial departments and helps to make our daily processes even more efficient. This allows us to make our services even more flexible and powerful in the long term.
As the so-called “Nord-Hub”, the hall plays a central role in regional groupage traffic: it consolidates and distributes consignments from the region and, especially at night, acts as a high-performance transhipment centre for the whole of northern Germany.
The new infrastructure creates ideal conditions for efficient and flexible logistics processes. Short distances and the ground-level, grouped arrangement of the dispatch offices next to the warehouse area enable fast and smooth handling. This is complemented by modern facilities – including practical amenities such as showers for professional drivers.
With the construction of our new Hall S, we are sending a clear signal for growth and the consistent further development of future-oriented logistics solutions.
